Do you remember a few months back we tested out a new “winter sowing” technique for growing our summer plants and veggies? Well, it worked! I took a peek yesterday and found little baby sproutlets in my broccoli, green onion and spinach milk jugs. Yeah! Now it is time to start my more delicate plants like tomatoes and squash today using the same mini greenhouse method. I am so happy I tried this technique because it is going to save me tons of money on my garden this year by using seeds instead of greenhouse plants. Want to know how to start your own seeds easily? Here is a peek at our sprouts still happy in their little milk jug greenhouses. They will need to stay safe in there for a few more weeks until the last frost passes.
