So the other day I was wandering Target with my grande iced coffee from Starbucks in my hand and something caught my eye – Target has gone retro this spring! I simply could not be more excited! Of course, I ran (without spilling my precious coffee) and grabbed a basket to fill up with tons of super cute clothes. By the time I finished in the fitting room only half of them fit – typical. But it didn’t matter – Target’s choices are on point this spring with the 1960 vibe and the prices aren’t too shabby either! *No, this post is NOT sponsored. I am just very excited when I find new retro inspired clothing to buy*
My Spring Target Haul
The first thing I picked up and couldn’t put down was this mustard spring top with doily flare sleeves. It fit perfectly and with the slight flare to the bottom of the shirt, along the waistline – I felt confident wearing it. This top is both comfortable and perfect for the warmer, yet still chilly days of spring! And the color! :swoon:
Do you remember these skirts? I think I used to have one in the 8th grade. I should have kept it, but because I didn’t, I just bought it again twenty some years later. Ha! What I super love about this skirt is that it sits high on the waist, but is still long enough to not look like a mini skirt. Its comfortable and flattering – the only thing I need to do is find a short or tuck-able top to go with it.
Oh lace, you can go anywhere with me baby! This top I picked because it is light and breezy – plus it’s made of a linen type fabric that I love! While it’s still a bit too chilly to wear this tank style shirt yet – I’m getting it ready to take with me to Florida later on this month.
We can’t forget about the shoes!
Finding new, retro inspired clothing can be difficult – so when I find something that I love, I am super excited to share it with you. If you come across a store either online or in person that carries fashion like this – let me know so I can check it out.
As always – You Rock! xoxo
