The other day the kids and I were invited to check out the newest traveling exhibit to hit the Impression 5 Science Center in Lansing. Being that my kids are HUGE Hot Wheels™ fans, they wanted to know what we thought about it. Spoiler alert – we LOVED it! Between the new exhibit and the rest of the jam-packed facility, we ended up spending our entire day at Impression 5. But really, it’s not that hard to do!
Before I show you all of the fun we had during our visit in a YouTube video, here is a little bit more information about the newest exhibit at Impression 5.
Hot Wheels™: Race to Win™ Rolls In At Impression 5 | Lansing, Michigan
If you’ve got a fan of cars that go “vroom” in your house, then this exhibit is probably for you! Created by The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and Mattel, this traveling exhibit rolled into the Impression 5 location on September 10th and will remain available for exploration until January 6th. This play area comes as an addition to already filled science facility and offers a new perspective on learning.
When you arrive at the science center, the new exhibit can be found on the lower level – the same level which you enter the building on. Once you purchase your admission into the building, this added temporary exhibit is free for you to explore along with the other levels of interactive fun! In the exhibit you will find areas for free play with cars, ramps that are fun to send cars racing down in competition, driving video games, and an area to pretend play as a member of the pit crew.
We had so much fun during our exploration of this exhibit and the rest of the amazing Impression 5 Science Center. Join us on our adventure by watching the YouTube video below. You can also watch the full version, which shows our entire visit, on our daily vlog.
