Welcome to #CampWarnerBros! This is the first week, out of 8 total, we will be sharing at-home summer camp activities for you to enjoy with your kids. Today’s summer camp theme idea is superhero training! Movie preview, box art, and embedded video have been provided by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
Superhero Camp Games and Activities
Have you ever wanted to be a superhero? I know I have! In this fun video, Batman walks us through what it takes to be a superhero. It takes patience, listening, and apparently a sense of humor.
DIY Campers Choice Activities
Here are a few additional superhero camp ideas to go along with this weeks theme:
- Draw yourself as a superhero (what will you look like?)
- Paint your planet (where do you come from?)
- Write your superhero story
- Dress up like your created superhero (use what you have)
- Have a water balloon fight: superheroes vs. villains
Superhero Themed Movie Night
After a fun-filled day of learning to be a superhero, it’s nice to settle in with a themed movie that the whole family can enjoy. This weeks movie title recommendation is LEGO® DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters.

Our superhero camp movie of choice follows 10-year-old Billy Batson who transforms into Shazam!, a full-fledged adult Super Hero. Joining him in this adventure is Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and the rest of the Justice League. This fun and feel-good movie is centered around learning to trust others – and the idea that nothing creates trust like helping others in need.
Thanks again to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment for including us in Camp Warner Bros. Remember, there are more weeks of themed camp activities coming your way. Stay up to date on what’s new by signing up to “Get a Postcard” at the bottom of our blog. This way, you’ll get a notification of all new posts by email. Together we can extinguish the FOMO once and for all (come on, share with me your best villainous laugh).
